Starting Weapons
A Starting character may start with a 2-Handed Weapon plus 1 Back Up Weapon, or two 1-Handed Weapon, and 1 Back Up weapon. Below are example of starting weapons. If you wish you character to start with a different weapon, please PM Reeve with a description of the weapon, with ‘Starting Weapon’ as the message name, I will the design the weapon based of the description given.
2-Handed Melee Weapons
Great-Axe (2-Handed): A huge axe, slow but packs a punch. +5 STR, -2 DEX while attacking. Requires STR 15 to use.
Great-Sword (2-Handed): A large sword designed to be used with 2 hands. +3 STR while striking.
Quarter Staff (2-Handed): A long wooden staff, a light weight weapon for use with two hands. +1 STR, +2 DEX while attacking.
Longspear (2-Handed): A long wooden shaft, tipped with a sharp point. +2 STR, +1 DEX while stabbing.
2-Handed Ranged Weapons
Assault Rifle (2-Handed): A basic assault rifle, holding 30 bullets and capable or semi-automatic and 3 round burst fire. +1 DEX when firing, +1 STR when striking.
Shotgun (2-Handed): A basic pump action shotgun, holds 6 rounds, and fires in a spread pattern. +2 DEX when firing, +2 STR when striking. Requires STR 15 to use.
Sniper Rifle (2-Handed): A long range sniper rifle with scope, holds 5 rounds but has a manual bolt mechanism. +4 DEX when firing. Requires WIS 15 to use.
1-Handed Melee Weapons
Longsword (1-Handed): A simple one handed sword. +2 STR while striking.
Whip (1-Handed): A simple long leather whip. +1 STR, +1 DEX while striking.
Fighter’s glove: A simple studded glove. +3 STR while punching.
Shield (1-Handed): A simple steel shield. +1 STR while bashing. +2 CON while blocking.
1-Handed Ranged Weapon
Magnum (1-Handed): A large calibre hand gun, that hold 9 rounds. +1 DEX while firing, or +2 DEX if used in both hands.
Uzi (1-Handed): A simple fast firing gun. Holds 30 rounds. +2 DEX while firing. Requires STR 15 to use.
Throwing weapon (1-Handed): A dagger/axe/shuriken designed to be thrown. +2 DEX when thrown, +1 STR while striking.
Back Up Weapons
Combat Knife (Back Up): A simple combat knife. +1 STR, +1 DEX while striking.
Handgun (Back Up): A simple back up pistol, holds 13 ammo. +2 DEX while firing.
Grenade (Back Up): A basic grenade, may be used once per thread. Causes an small explosion that does DEX + WIS as damage.
